2025 Cultural Event Schedule

November 2023 – March 2024 – Manakin bunker renovations on holes 11, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18 as well as Manakin irrigation re-wiring holes 1-4 and 14-18

March 17^th and 18^th - Manakin Greens Aeration – ¼” cores & ½” solid tines plus topdressing sand

April 7^th and 8^th - Sabot Greens Aeration – ¼” cores & ½” solid tines plus topdressing sand

May 19^th & 20^th – Both courses Fairway Aeration - Solid tine aeration, compost the rough

May 27^th – Tuesday after Memorial Day – 18 holes open at 1pm

June 9^th – Manakin greens aeration, begin Sabot fairway verticutting

June 10^th – 11^th – Sabot greens aeration and complete fairway verticut and topdressing

July 14^th - August 25^th - Both courses closed until 3pm on Mondays

July 21^st – 23^rd - Manakin Fairway Verticutting - verticut and sand topdressing

August 25^th and 26^th - Sabot greens aeration - .25" cores plus topdressing

September 2^nd – Tuesday after Labor Day, 18 holes opens at 1pm

September 22^nd – 23^rd - Manakin greens aeration – 1/4" cores plus topdressing

Periodic light topdressings will occur on the greens and approaches in order to supplement the more significant events above and are not intended to impact play throughout the season.
