2026 Cultural Event Schedule 

March 16^th and 17^th - Manakin Greens Aeration – Deep tine, 3/8" cores, ½” solids and topdressing sand

April 6^th and 7^th - Sabot Greens Aeration - Deep tine, 3/8" cores, ½” solids and topdressing sand

 

May 18^th & 19^th – Both courses Fairway Aeration - Solid tine aeration, compost the rough

 

May 26^th – Tuesday after Memorial Day – 18 holes open at 1pm

 

June 4^th – 6^th – Men’s Member Guest – everyone works Saturday the 6^th

 

June 8^th & 9^th – Vent all greens (1/8” cores) and light topdress

 

July 6^th – 8^th – Sabot complete fairway verticut and topdressing

 

July 13^th - August 31^st - Both courses closed until 3pm on Mondays

July 20^th – 22^nd - Manakin Fairway Verticutting - verticut and sand topdressing

 

August 21^st – 23^rd – The Valentine Invitational – Everyone works both Sat & Sunday

 

August 24^th and 25^th - Sabot greens aeration - .25" cores plus topdressing

 

September 8^th – Tuesday after Labor Day, 18 holes opens at 1pm

 

September 10^th – 12^th – Men’s Member Member – Everyone works Saturday the 12^th

 

September 14^th – 15^th - Manakin greens aeration – 1/4" cores plus topdressing
